ICN 2009 Travel Awards for Young Investigators
 

ICN 2009 is pleased to announce that leading organizations such as IUNS, Wellcome Trust and NIH have pledged to financially support outstanding young researchers interested to participate at ICN 2009 in Bangkok.

Below is the list of criteria for selection:

  1. Applicant’s abstract must be selected for Oral Presentation or distinguished Poster Presentation.
  2. Applicant must be the presenting author of the accepted abstract.
  3. Research must be original, not previously published or presented in an international forum/meeting.
  4. Applicant must be 40 years or below.
  5. Priority will be given to applicants from low and middle income countries.

Young Scientist Award


During this year’s ICN, the ENLP, SEANLP and ANLP will, for the first time, present a joint Young Scientist Award, to recognize the potential of young scientists to become global leaders in nutrition. The aim of this joint initiative is to encourage outstanding young researchers from all over the world and from all fields of nutrition to develop their careers in nutrition and to
establish a global network of future nutrition leaders.
